When your head suddenly hits the asphalt hard in a fall, the rotational acceleration can cause the brain tissue to endure extremely high tensions. The stretching of the brain tissue caused by these abrupt movements can result in various types of brain injuries. MIPS technology allows your head to move slightly during a crash. This provides extra protection for your brain.

The outer shell is made from light and strong polycarbonate, produced in three shell sizes. The interior of the MX-9 MIPS is antibacterial-treated and fully removable and washable. The closure is a comfortable and strong DD ring.
